About
Eddie Villa is the visionary founder of both VDLR Developers and MNFST Builders, Inc.
His journey in the building industry began in 2005 as a residential framer in Los Angeles where he later earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Cal Poly Pomona, and then followed by a Master of Architecture from the University of Oregon.

Eddie’s professional experience then expanded while working at KTGY Architecture + Planning— one of the top 30 architecture firms in the U.S.—where he contributed to a range of commercial, residential, and high-density mixed-use projects.

In 2019, he founded VDLR Developers after successfully purchasing, designing, permitting, and building his first residential development project in Los Angeles.
​
Since then, he has expanded service offerings to include residential design/permitting, with a strong focus on new ground up custom homes, accessory dwelling units (ADUs), SB9 Units and multi-dwelling unit projects.

In 2023, Eddie then went on to become a licensed General Contractor (GC) through VDLR’s partner company, MNFST Builders, Inc., to further integrate and streamline the design and construction process as a one-stop shop.

Residential Design & Permit
​During the design and permitting phase, our team collaborates closely with you to develop a comprehensive and customized plan for your project. We carefully consider your goals and requirements, while delivering a preliminary construction cost estimate alongside a design that is not only functional and visually compelling, but also strategically crafted to maximize your return on investment.

Construction
Once the permitting phase is complete and the plans are approved and set in stone, we will provide a final construction cost estimate. This will outline the scope of work, associated costs and timeline for your project.
Real Estate Development

At the beginning, it is critical to conduct a feasibility study to determine the highest and best use of the property. We then define the scope of work , the budget, the investment potential and the expected timelines.

At VDLR Developers, we support property owners who are willing and able to act as their own general contractor. This enables clients to take full control of the project budget and timelines - while being guided by VDLR Developers throughout the construction process. This has resulted in clients potentially saving on the overall costs.
